Response
While I did not really receive much feedback from my group, on this design; The use of the words
meme-ish were used to describe my squirrel's tail. This is do to the OK sign being perceived in popular culture as a reference. Could it be that the squirrel has become as relatable object. I was really interested in how this object could be seen as cultural, so I want to put it in the world to see how it would fare. Squirrel hand is not usable, but certainly doesn't stop it from existing.
This is how OK squirrel relates to remix culture
The idea of mashup and juxtaposition in the spectrum of defining two ideas in contrast to demonstrate of new way of thinking does not have a place here, you could look for ideas of fact in the object as if we are seeing a hand as a tail, or our disconnection with animals as we when we try to have a part we make nature all fucked up. Truth is it was automation and these were essentially ideas that came out afterwards. I don't even remember coming up with the idea, just putting a hand where I thought it belonged.
Ok Squirrel is to be a cultural icon.
